As a Baking Experience Facilitator you will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of various types of baking experience from Hen Parties to Team Building sessions to general baking experience days. You will need to ensure that all equipment, ingredients and refreshments are ready in plenty of time before the participants arrival. The main aim is to make the experience fun, interactive, informative and give great value for money.
Depending on the type of experience you are hosting the times will vary. A full day experience runs from 10am - 4pm (approx) and you will generally need aabout an hour before and after to set up/clean down.
Hen parties usually last for about 2 - 3 hours, Home Baking Experiences last 3 - 4 hours and Team Building days can be anything from 3 hours to a full day depending on what the client needs. All dates and times will be subject to prior agreement with yourself.
Whilst we look for our Experience Facilitators to have some knowledge of baking we do provide full training and support throughout. Our central database takes care of all bookings and customer queries up to the day. You simply tell us when you would like to work and we will endeavour to book experiences to suit your timetable. The position is self-employed and as such you will be responsible for your own self assessment at the end of the financial year. If you have never been self employed before don't worry, we can guide you through the process and it's not as scary as it might sound. The money you earn will vary depending on the work you wish to take on but you can expect to earn anywhere between £60 for a couple of hours work to £350 for a full day.
