Once you've registered and enjoyed your first cuppa of the day along with a delicious breakfast you’ll be thrown into the world of artisan bread as you learn all about ingredients, kneading, proving, shaping and of course baking.
On the day, one of our experienced bakers will guide you through this hands-on practical workshop, designed to show you every stage of the artisan bread baking process.
No prior baking experience is necessary; just enthusiasm and a desire to make real bread! We will discuss the importance of ingredients and explain the journey from flour to finished loaf as you create the Ticklebelly classics, Rustic White, Traditional Wholemeal and Hearty Grain. If we have the time we'll make a couple of bonus loaves too!
The day includes a breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly baked croissants, fresh ground coffee, a selection of teas and fruit juice as well as a hearty lunch and unlimited refreshments throughout the day so you've no need to bring anything.
All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the Bakery, though you may wish to bring a pen and notebook so you can write down any tips you hear on the day. Please do wear light clothing though as the Bakery can get very warm.
At the end of the day you’ll be presented with your freshly baked Artisan Breads to take home and enjoy with your friends and family.
Our Artisan Bread Baking kits will be available to order on the day so you can get cracking as soon as possible and show off your newly found skills to your family and friends.

Registration & Breakfast from 9:30 am
Baking begins at 10 am
Break for lunch at 12:30 pm
Baking continues at 1 pm
Baking concludes at approximately 5 pm
